Cesaro and Paul Heyman will cross paths again

WWE fans all around the world were ecstatic when Cesaro revealed he was no longer a Zeb Colter guy as he aligned himself with the genius that is Paul Heyman.

Every single week Cesaro received a great reaction, and rightfully so as working alongside Paul Heyman – the one behind the one in 21 and 1 – is no small feat. As well as the fact that Cesaro was the inaugural winner in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at WrestleMania XXX; so as you can imagine Cesaro was touted for an incredible 2014.

It’s safe to say that hasn’t happened, at times he looked promising in the Money in the Bank ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship; but that didn’t really mean much as he was also involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view when he was a Zeb Colter guy.

So he didn’t really achieve a lot under Paul Heyman, apart from the fact that our expectations continued to grow and through no fault of his own he has fallen well short of expectations.
After a number of continues losses, it was revealed from nowhere that Cesaro and Paul Heyman had gone their separate ways. No big break up, no storyline, nothing.

Although we saw a few words exchanged between the two men last week on Monday Night Raw; it was clear their partnership had ended.

This isn't the end

However it has been rumoured that this definitely isn’t the last we’ll see of Cesaro and Paul Heyman together.

There are already plans in place for the WWE to capitalise on this failed partnership, the plan right now is still to have that inevitable clash the fans so desperately wanted to see, between The King of Swing, Cesaro; and The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.

The original plan was for Paul Heyman to continue building Cesaro into a massive threat in the business, before Heyman would turn on Cesaro and bring back Brock Lesnar for the two to meet inside the ring. The amicable split which Cesaro mentioned on Monday Night Raw is seen as a platform for something a lot bigger, so keep your eyes peeled and remain patient with Cesaro.

Focus on the beast

The real reason the WWE decided to pull Paul Heyman away from Cesaro was basically revolved around Brock Lesnar and his return. The WWE didn’t want to have Paul Heyman splitting his time between both superstars and waned him fully focused on Brock Lesnar and him being a threat to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion; where he will challenge for the gold against John Cena at SummerSlam.

The WWE dropped the ball with Curtis Axel and Ryback as Paul Heyman guys and they’ve done the exact same with Cesaro. Let’s hope this bad booking doesn’t continue, as very soon being a ‘Paul Heyman Guy’ won’t be as prestigious as it sounds.
