According to latest reports in Italy, Mario Balotelli's agent is holding talks with Liverpool over a possible transfer for the Italian.
The reports also suggests that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers believes the 23-year-old is a perfect replacement for Luis Suarez, who was sold to Spanish giants Barcelona in July for a fee of £75 million.
AC Milan have been reported as keen on selling their star man to raise funds for the purchase of other players this summer, and are willing to accept any offers in the region of £14 million for the former Manchester City striker.
Rodgers also admitted that Balotelli held the exact attributes that he admires in footballers. ‘Balotelli has all the qualities [I like],’ Rodgers said. ‘He’s 6’3”, he’s quick, his touch is terrific, he can score goals and he’s still so young.
‘I saw that in this time at Inter as a young player and obviously going to Manchester City when we had a real close eye on him there.’
He added: ‘He’s a big talent.’
