Roman stands tall and the Pedigree returns - RAW review 4th August

Published 1 Comments

RAW opened and closed with a bang on Monday as a legendary sight was seen once again while an epic match kicked off the show in Austin, Texas.

RAW began with a last man standing match between Kane and Roman Reigns which was by far the match of the night as the two warriors fought valiantly.

That match then sparked a scene that most people really wished we would never see happen again.

The Authorities big night didn't end there though as they made their way out for the contract signing between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella.

Also featured tonight was a beat the clock challenge between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins with the winner choosing the stipulation for their match at Summer Slam.

With Ambrose setting a fairly unimpressive time, Roliins opponent was changed from Rob Van Dam to Heath Slater.

Chris Jericho took on Luke Harper knowing that a win would mean the creepy bearded superstar would also be banned from ringside when he takes on Bray Wyatt at Summer Slam.

Wyatt intervened causing the disqualification but delivered a sister Abigail to Y2J to make sure he knew what he will be up against.

Elsewhere, everyone's least favourite diva Lana sang happy birthday to American President Barack Obama in Russian.

The Real Americans interrupted and the usual clash between Swagger and Rusev ensued with the big Russian being left standing.

Dolph Ziggler gained a big win over Cesaro before having a confrontation with The Miz and once again getting close to making contact with the money maker.

Stardust and Goldust made their first personal appearance in a long time and were once again victorious over a struggling RybAxel.

Bo Dallas finally overcame R-Truth and following a less than inspirational victory for Dallas, a brawl between the two unfolded.

Fandango and his new dance partner, Hornswoggle still couldn't get him a win as he once again fell to Diego.

Mark Henry donned a Texas Longhorns t-shirt to take on Damian Sandow who was posing as an Alabama Sooner.
