CM Punk will never make a WWE return and the wrestling organization does not want him back. Punk staying away from the ring is something both parties agree on, or at least that's what one guy thinks.
Those are the thoughts of wrestling promoter Paul Heyman, who believes CM Punk's time in WWE is completely over.
Paul Heyman is never one to hold back whether that be in the ring or out of it. And this week has been no different for the character we love to hate.
But it seems like it's not only Heyman that WWE bosses love to hate, CM Punk has now fallen in that category, with the word hate being the key word.
According to Heyman, Punk's mindset is that he will never go back to WWE. Heyman is certainly a man that is credible when it comes to analyzing Punk's feelings. After all, the two are good friends.
There is never a dull moment when Paul Heyman is around that's for sure. You can always rely on him to provide some buzz worthy answers to the most mundane questions.
Taking us back to when Heyman had his own tussle with Vince McMahon, the former on-screen advocate for the Best in the World opened up - not for the first time.
"I think CM Punk's mindset right now is never to come back and I think their mindset is 'we never want him back.
"I think it's very much CM Punk's mindset right now that he is driven and determined never to go back and in his mind, if he ever does go back it will be a sign of a failure on his part, that his success in life is predicated on his move never to go back.
"And I think WWE feels the very same way on the converse. I think their attitude is 'we're going to show this guy we don't need him and we'll never use him again."
Considering the fact that Heyman is the one who mentors CM Punk, he is much more likely to be the one that actually gets an opinion on CM Punk right.
