Ever since Stephanie McMahon decided to pick on Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan, the WWE Universe has been anticipating the former women's champion's return to the ring.
It has been decades since a diva's match has had so much hype surrounding it, but now it seems WWE are about to put a huge roadblock in Brie's way.
As seen on this week's Raw, Brie and Nikki were both attacked by Stephanie and Triple H and both received a pedigree, but Brie also put her hands on the COO, slapping him to the ground before Stephanie recovered to bounce her off the table.
Not a lot was thought of it, it was just Brie trying to fight out and save her sister, right? Wrong. It seems it was WWE's way of being able to add Triple H to the mix and make him the special guest referee for the encounter.
Triple H will obviously put everything in the match in his wife's favour and it will ruin the build up and everything they have both already achieved. Brie has been working hard to improve in the ring over the past few months and Stephanie also still looks in great shape and you have to think she has been training for this for months.
Why can't WWE allow them to have the match they deserve, the rivalry needs a definitive ending and Triple H will just extend this. Whether or not this is a clever ploy to somehow involve Daniel Bryan is something we may have to wait and find out, but there have been various rumours that the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be at "the biggest party of the summer."
Nikki's role in the whole scenario is also still yet to be made clear, with news that she could also be turning on her sister, who is Brie really going to have on her side next weekend?
This isn't the only stipulation match that could be happening at SummerSlam as Dean Ambrose announced the stipulation for his match with Seth Rollins at last night's Smackdown tapings. The "lunatic fringe" had decided on a lumberjack match with his former team mate, much to the disappointment to many fans who were expecting either a street fight or for Seth to be forced to put his briefcase on the line.
A lumberjack match does make sense for the pair though, because now Seth wont be able to run away and will finally be forced to allow Dean to get his revenge for that attack the night after Payback.
