Let's face it. The Rock has it made.
Part-time WWE superstar, full-time Hollywood A-lister, the veteran wrestler had made the transition from regular appearances in the WWE as the people's champ to starring roles in action packed blockbuster movies.
But now The Rock is facing competition for that honor from none other than female UFC star Ronda Rousey.
Rousey is set to hit our screens in the latest instalment of The Expendables movie franchise, and the UFC fighter was in determined mood when talking about how far she could go in the acting business - vowing to topple The Rock from his perch at the top of the business.
"I'm like, 'Screw it, I don't give a s**t, if The Rock can become the world's highest-grossing actor, I can have that same goal.' I want to be the highest-grossing actor in the world someday," she told this month's 'ESPN The Magazine'.
The Rock of course ended 2013 atop the Forbes list of top-grossing actors after starring in movies which brought in a combined $1.3 billion.
Reaching for the top
Rousey has fought her way to the top of the UFC ladder since debuting in the Octogon in 2011 and it looks like that same dogged spirit that has given her a perfect 10-0 record is being transferred into the acting game:
"I never aspired to be second," Rousey replied when asked if her ambition was top topple Dwyane Johnson.
"I was taught as a kid that you can do whatever you want in this world, so why not be the best in the world at it?"
"Even when I was bar tending, I wanted to be the world's best, most efficient and charming bartender. That how I do things."
Her role in The Expendables 3 alongside the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford and Jason Statham will certainly be a good start to her lofty goal. And with a follow up performance in the feature-length 'Entourage' movie Rousey is definitely going the right way about trying to get her name in lights.
Rousey of course isn't giving up on her UFC career just yet though, and The Rock is the ideal example to follow for someone looking to combine careers.
The legendary wrestler spends most of his time pursuing acting roles but returns on occasions (to the reported annoyance of some superstars) to wrestle in the WWE - usually just in time for a standout performance at WrestleMania.
With both stars having reached the pinnacle of their respective sports it will be interesting to see if Rousey can compete with The Rock in Hollywood. One thing is for sure though, you can't deny her ambition.
