It has been leaked today that WWE are looking to fast track four of their NXT superstars up onto the main roster.
Current women's champion and second generation diva, Charlotte looks like she is set to be on the list. The former gymnast has dominated since her arrival in NXT and has been part of some of the best divas matches in the training facility.
After going up against Natalya, who was accompanied by Bret Hart for the title match, she was joined by her father Ric Flair and retained the title in arguably one of the best divas matches seen in NXT.
It seems she has gained a look from the higher powers within WWE and could now be set to drop her title at NXT Takeover 2, where she takes on Bayley in order to allow her to step away from NXT and up to the main roster.
Kalisto is the second name on the list despite he and Sin Cara being number one contenders for the tag team champions. Since Rey Mysterio's apparent departure from WWE a few months ago, the company have been without a masked superstar for the younger generation of fans to get behind and to be impressed by.
Sin Cara has been dropped back down to NXT after he was beaten quickly by Rusev in his last match and the two have now formed a partnership and with how big WWE's current tag team division is, the two could be coming over as a package deal.
Unsurprisingly, tag team champions The Ascension are also on the list, many expected these two to be called up sooner with The Usos and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan's rivalry fizzling out and the other strange pairing rumoured to be the ones who will dethrone The Usos.
The Ascension need to drop their gold as well before they can be called up and could do that as soon as NXT Takeover two as well. But talking of the Tag Team Championships, it has been announced that The Usos will defend on the kick off show at SummerSlam against Ryback and Curtis Axel, Stardust and Goldust and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
Many people will be shocked that current NXT champion Adrian Neville isn't on this list after former champions Seth Rollins and Big E were called straight up following a successful reign, but it seems WWE are giving the Geordie a little bit more in the development area and he could be called up later in the year or around the Royal Rumble.
