Cristiano Ronaldo wants Angel di Maria to snub transfer

Published Add your comment

Manchester United are still in with a chance of signing Angel di Maria according to recent reports - but not if one of Old Trafford's favourite sons has anything to do with it according to Le10Sport.

Cristiano Ronaldo is apparently doing all he can to persuade Di Maria that his future lies at the Bernabeu and not Old Trafford.

He will not be joining Paris Saint-Germain whatever happens, after the club's president confirmed that his €60 million price tag was beyond their reach because of Financial Fair Play limitations.

That of course is a huge boost to Manchester United, but if Ronaldo has his way then no deal will happen. He persuaded the Argentinian to stay and fight for his place in the Real Madrid team last year when he looked destined to move, and it seems as though he is doing the same this time round too.
