Serie A outfit Inter Milan are set to offload some of their star players from their squad and one of the notable names they are prepared to sell is Colombian international Fredy Guarin according to Daily Star.
Manchester United’s ongoing quest to land Arturo Vidal is on the verge of collapse and if they fail to sign him in the coming days will look for alternatives.Guarin has already been told by Inter to find a new club this summer.
Van Gaal insisted Vidal’s representatives for the player to agree personal terms and undergo a medical before any fee is agreed with Juventus according to Goal.
Guarin is nowhere near Vidal’s qualities as a player but could provide the much needed balance that had been missing from the Manchester United midfield last term.
Inter boss wants Guarin out
Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzarri wants to bring in Jonathan Biabiany from Parma, and view him ahead of Guarin and has put the 28-year-old on the transfer list at San Siro.
However Premier League side West Brom Albion could complicate the situation as they have already made contacts with Biabiany to bring him to England for £6million, according to Daily Mail.
Vidal to Manchester United could be off this summer
The Daily Telegraph reports that Van Gaal faces serious concerns regarding Vidal’s injured knee and the mega-money deal to bring the Chilean to Old Trafford might not materialize this summer.
Fredy Guarin made 32 appearances for the Milan based club in 2013-14,scoring 4 goals and assisting 6.Long passes, crossing and dribbling are his main attributes, according to WhoScored.com.
The former Porto man was also a member of the Colombian squad in the World Cup in Brazil.Linked with various heavyweight clubs across Europe for the last few transfer windows,a switch to The Red Devils would be hard to turn down for Guarin ahead of any other club making a move for the dynamic midfielder.
