It looks like Gareth Bale isn't the only Real Madrid player that's been putting in the hard yards in the gym over the summer after Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his immense strength by going the extra mile in training.
The Portuguese superstar was filmed taking a light session to the next level when, without prompting, he produced 15 consecutive clap press-ups while the rest of his team-mates settled for the standard form of the exercise.
Ronaldo is renowned for his amazing levels of fitness, and has clearly bulked up over the past five years at the Santiago Bernabeu - something that club-record signing Bale has taken on board as he looks to improve during his second season in Spain.
Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that Ronaldo's latest training ground exploits are a signal of intent ahead of the forthcoming season, where the 29-year-old and Bale and all the other Los Blancos stars will be expected to take their game to the next level.
Real Madrid successfully lifted their tenth European Cup last season, but missed out on the Spanish title to local rivals Atletico Madrid.
The Primera División giants will be hoping to retain the Champions League trophy in 2014/15, and will also attempt to reclaim the domestic crown from Diego Simeone's Los Rojiblancos side.
