Dutch star Memphis Depay has hinted that he could be on the move this summer amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham, reports The Express.
The PSV ace, who starred at this summer's World Cup, has admitted that he misses playing with players of the calibre of his international teammates.
Depay, who has been likened to former Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, certainly looks set for a bright future in the game, but it's uncertain as to whether he will be on the move in this window.
Asked about his future, Depay told NOS: "I've been asked that question a hundred times and I'm not going to answer it.
"It remains to be seen, but for now I'm staying in Eindhoven."
Speaking about his experience at the World Cup, Depay said: "In Brazil I trained with guys of a high level, which you don't encounter in the Netherlands, and I learned a lot.
"That has given me a lot of confidence. It is important to maintain that."
PSV, however, seem determined to keep hold of the winger in this window, with the same report suggesting that the club are in negotiations to extend his stay. Depay struck twice as his Dutch side beat Willem II on the opening day of the season, but he could still be on the move before the close of this window.
Manchester United fans will certainly be hoping that Louis van Gaal improves his squad in the coming weeks, as the Red Devils look to improve after a disastrous season under former manager David Moyes.
A number of United's wingers struggled for consistency last term, as the likes of Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia and Nani all failed to impress. Youngster Wilfried Zaha also endured a difficult debut season at Old Trafford, as the Red Devils ended the Premier League season in seventh place.
Depay, then, could improve United out-wide after he proved his credentials at this summer's World Cup. It remains to be seen, however, as to whether Manchester United will make a move for the Dutch ace, but they may yet have to battle Premier League rivals Tottenham for the player's services.
