Does Gisele Bündchen, the wife of NFL superstar Tom Brady have reason to be concerned with her husband quarterback being quoted with a line like: "I've got my hands on their butts probably more than their wives"?
The fashion model and actress would've been taken aback when glancing upon the headline about her spouse but this was the humorous quote captured from Brady when speaking about his current connection with offensive line.
Despite a rain soaked practice, the Patriots QB was in jovial mood on Wednesday when he met with reporters outside the complex.
The New England offensive line is a talking point for all fans of the franchise at the present time, news of an ongoing center competition has developed in training camp and Brady was asked about the contest.
Brady was questioned on who had the upper hand in the position battle between Dan Connolly and Ryan Wendell, although the quarterback wouldn't reveal who has the edge to snap footballs to him come September.
Brady explained to the Boston Herald: "'I've got confidence in those guys, I love both Dan and Wendy. I love those guys. They work so hard."
Before he uttered the fantastic quote: "The center-quarterback relationship is a pretty special one. I've got my hands on their butts probably more than their wives, so it's a pretty unique trust and relationship you have."
You can definitely call that a unique relationship, its clear that you have to develop a strong relationship when you spend time in close quarters like that.
The two in competition have both seen starting game time for the Patriots, Wendell was the man who would line up in the traditional center position whilst Connolly was shifted to right guard last season.
The idea crafted by the coaches in New England was to compete for the center position and shake things up a little in training camp.
