Joel Campbell has admitted that he's dreamed of playing for Arsenal since watching Thierry Henry star for the club.
This has been reported by The Daily Mail, and it appears that the Gunners ace - who was on loan at Olympiacos last term - looks set to play a key role for the north London outfit for the 2014/15 campaign.
Campbell has revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told him that he wants him to be part of his plans for the 2014/15 season. This is despite recent reports suggesting the the forward could be on his way to Italian giants AC Milan for £16 million.
The youngster, then, has revealed that he's desperate to stamp his mark at the Emirates, and will be looking to do it this season.
Speaking to reporters, he said: "I've always dreamed of playing for Arsenal since I was a young kid watching Thierry Henry,
"The manager has told me he wants me to be part of his plans and not send me on loan again - now I want to repay his faith.
'Here I'm Joel Who? No one really knows who I am. But, hopefully, very soon everybody will know who I am - as that will mean I've done really well for Arsenal.
Campbell will be hoping to feature for Arsenal later today as they take on Crystal Palace in north London. Wenger's side will be desperate to secure an opening day victory as the club look to improve upon last season's fourth place finish.
And, with the likes of Campbell, Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy and Co. on board for the 2014/15 season, Gunners fans will be feeling confident that they can build on their FA Cup success.
