WWE and 2k Sports today held an event in Los Angeles yesterday to announce the full roster for the new WWE 2k15 game.

In an event aired as part of WWE's SummerSlam weekend, Renee Young and Stone Cold Steve Austin presented the show which included a panel made up of Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Sheamus, John Cena, Hulk Hogan and Sting in front of a fan-filled audience.

Old and new

In including wrestlers both past and present, the panel reflectd the upcoming game which sees several playable legends as well as the option to play as current WWE superstars with more recent rivalries.

Stone Cold asked Sting one of the more burning questions of the event, relating to a much-anticipated potential return to the ring. The legend didn't give a direct and clear answer, but did say that he would love to find out what it would be like in a WWE ring.

When the audience were able to take to the floor to ask questions, it was easy to see the popularity and success of the WWE worldwide, as there were fans from several countries and of a variety of ages.

One WWE follower stood up to raise a question while holding his young son, who he went on to say was given his middle name of Austin after Stone Cold, who was touched by the sentiment.

During the light-hearted production the same fan asked Stone Cold whether he still drunk beer and whether Hulk Hogan still took his vitamins, both answers were of course yes and the latter said he hoped the son's first name was Hulk.

Throughout the live stream, all members of the panel spoke about possible opponents and partnerships, with Austin adding that Sheamus is undoubtedly one of the toughest wrestlers he has ever seen in WWE.

Cena was unsurprisingly focused on his match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, as when one audience member asked Cena if he beats Lesnar on Sunday who could be his next opponent the champ started his reply with: "WHEN I beat Lesnar."

Successful show

Overall the event was a successful one for WWE and 2k Sports alike as there was a significant turn out from the WWE audience and the interactive nature of it proved the strength of the relationship between WWE superstars and their fans, which will only increase the popularity of the game when it is released on October 28 in the US and 31 October in the UK.
