Paige became a two-time WWE Divas Champion last night at SummerSlam, after only being up on the main roster for four months.
AJ Lee has held the title just twice as well, whilst veterans like Natalya have only had to opportunity to capture the gold once.
Does the fact that Paige has managed to come out of nowhere and dominate the Divas Division over the past four months mean that she is now the future of the business and the diva everyone wants to work with?
The latest edition of WWE inbox saw many of the WWE divas listing her as the future of the divas division and her shock title win last night has done nothing but cement that.
AJ was believed to have been the future of the business towards the end of last year when she delivered a pipe bomb that was heard around the world, to the cast of Total Divas. Since then she has seemed to taken her foot of the pedal somewhat and Paige has stepped up and pushed her further than any diva ever has.
Paige even managed to reverse the Black Widow en route to hitting the RamPaige for the win last night, even though many thought she wouldn't be lifting the belt for a second time. Not only was last night a big match for Paige but it was also her 22nd Birthday and what a present she received from WWE.
The match was more back and forth than their usual encounters and it was a surprise when Paige did manage to hit the RamPaige for the three count. Not only that, many thought it was too soon for the British Diva to be taking the title from AJ after the crazy chick only took her title back a few weeks ago.
This won't be the end of this rivalry though as AJ still has to cash in her rematch clause, that could happen as soon as tonight on Raw, but it is likely that WWE will wait until Night of Champions to see the belt defended again.
Probably the most shocking news to come from divas locker room, is the fact that Eva Marie now thinks because she pinned AJ and then won via count-out to her on both Raw and Smackdown last week, the newbie diva now thinks she deserves a shot at the divas title.
Now it's taken WWE over a decade to have a divas division that is worthy of competing alongside the men, a division that did themselves proud with two solid matches last night, don't let Eva anywhere near that title. It is the biggest title a WWE diva can hold and to see her lift it this soon in her career would completely demoralise that.
