Arsenal may look to delve into the transfer market after their disappointing draw against Besiktas last night, and one player they've been regularly linked with over the last year is Brazilian ace Bernard.

Now reports in Italy claim the Gunners are back in for the winger, who wants to leave Shakhtar Donetsk because of the political unrest in Ukraine. Rivals Tottenham are also in for the 21-year-old.

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal will look to capitalise on the uncertainty in eastern Europe with a raid for the Brazilian international. Reports coming out of Ukraine suggest that Tottenham are showing a serious interest too, and could look to make a move for his services.

Both north London clubs were linked with the talented youngster while he was still in Brazil with Atletico Mineiro, but he ultimately made the move to Shakhtar Donetsk.
