Tottenham return from Europe to face QPR test at White Hart Lane

Tottenham return from their European travels to face former manager Harry Redknapp and his Queens Park Rangers team at White Hart Lane on Sunday, with the hosts looking to extend their winning streak to three.

Mauricio Pochettino has seen his side come through two tricky games already this season, with Tottenham surviving an early red card and conceded penalty at West Ham and then coming from behind to win against AEL Limassol in the Europa League on Thursday.

Full squad

Playing in 30C heat in Cyprus will have sapped the energy of the players, but such is the strength of Pochettino's squad that he was able to leave the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon and Etienne Capoue at home and still get the win.

In front of Tottenham's own fans, however, Pochettino will hope his players perform better than in their two previous victories which were high in courage but low in technical prowess.

Argetine Erik Lamela will be coming off the back of two game-changing assists in midweek and should go back into the starting lineup, although the ex-Roma and River Plate winger has yet to show what he can do in the Premier League.

Likely team news

Eric Dier will cover the suspended Kyle Naughton at right-back, with Younes Kaboul and Jan Vertonghen partnering at centre-back.

That will probably be the only change from the team that started on the opening day of the season, with only 21-year-old Harry Kane pushing for a spot in the starting XI.
