The feud between Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent continues to rage on as the boxer has issued his typical boastful and brash response to the rapper after being called out on his literacy skills.
Curtis Jackson took his inspiration from the latest internet and social media trend of the Ice Bucket challenge by getting creative with his own unique challenge for his current nemesis Floyd Mayweather.
The continuing feud
The pair do not like each other and have been feuding for quite some time, the many reasons for their continued distain for one another is too long to list at the present moment, however their rivalry has culminated in a rather public dispute.
50 Cent began by taking to his official Instagram to call out Mayweather's ability to read, challenging him to read a page of Harry Potter before revising it to a section of Cat in the Hat, all in the name of charity supposedly.
Now Mayweather took his time to respond to Jackson but did so in his expected cocksure manner.
On Saturday morning the 37-year-old flexed his financial muscle when he took to Twitter to say: "Read this $72,276,000.00. God bless." alongside two cheques which displayed a lot of digits.
50 Cent gave the man nicknamed in the Boxing game 'Money' another opportunity to show of his incredible wealth and despite initial suspected embarrassment it seems Mayweather may have combat the challenge perfectly.
The rapper is certainly by no means a scrub when it comes to wealth but cannot compete on the same level as the boxer.
Mayweather is currently being challenged more on social media and in the public eye than in the boxing ring, but that's one place where 50 Cent wouldn't like to take the contest.
Continue to watch this space as we are sure that 50 Cent will have some response to Mayweather's tweet and it will probably be in the humorous manner in which the rapper conducts himself.
