Stone Cold Steve Austin was the ultimate star of the WWE - alongside The Rock - during the companies greatest period, the Attitude Era.
But after retiring thanks to a serious neck problem in the early 2000's, the Texas Rattlesnake has said that he would like one last chance to shine on the grandest stage of them all, at a WrestleMania.
Up for it
In near enough every single press conference that Austin does these days he is asked about a return. Each time, he gives pretty much the same answer. Stone Cold would be up for a comeback match but the circumstances would have to be just right because, let's face it, his coming back would be no small task.
However, in his latest interview with PW Torch, Austin 3:16 certainly sounds as though he's positioning himself more to get that match.
"I'll reserve my right to if I want to have another match down the road - say, like, Dallas, Texas is going to be (WrestleMania) 32," Austin said earlier in the week.
"Now, 31 is right down the road from me. That could be doable, but I don't see it happening. Now, Dallas, that could be very special going back to Texas for 32. They're going to need a loaded card to fill that house. So, I'll reserve my right."
Every single wrestling fan would love to see Austin back in the square circle. When he appeared with The Rock and Hulk Hogan for a small segment at the start of WrestleMania 30 it pretty much broke the internet.
If a small talking part got so much love, just imagine how incredible him being in the ring against any of them would end up being.
