An industry which is loved by so many, WWE is an extremely popular company which has been successful for so many years, and will undeniably continue to do so.

Perhaps the most prominent reason for its success is those which make up the largest part of the company - the WWE superstars themselves.

Whether you are someone who grew up when the likes of Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper lead the way in WWE, or are a fan of more recent SuperStars such as Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, there is something for all ages in this industry.

Those who are less familiar with WWE and its universe often brand it as a great deal of acting with a lot of tiny outfits. If these people were to follow WWE at present though, they would soon realise the significant followings these wrestlers have as well as the reality of any injuries they suffer.

The reality

In addition, the story-lines which make up WWE often involve occurrences from real life, either through relationships or rivalries, the events we see can be transferable to the superstar's lives outside of the industry.

The events which do take place during the WWE shows however, are another reason for its continued success. The company would be nothing without its script writers, who work endlessly to ensure a balance is maintained between all of the wrestlers, as well as incorporating several surprises, particularly for pay-per-view dates.

The scheduling and organisation of this industry is a key aspect in its popularity. The recent development of the WWE Network has meant several of us are able to keep up-to-date with the latest WWE news, even if an episode of Raw or Smackdown has been missed.

As well as this, the WWE Network allows members of the WWE Universe to watch past matches, meaning they can relive their love for the business whenever and wherever they wish.

Having Monday Night Raw at the beginning of the week and Smackdown on a Friday, is the perfect schedule for maintaining interest in WWE.

Once Monday Night Raw is over, it is only a few days until another WWE show with more entertaining segments is aired. Better still, is when a pay-per-view event such as WrestleMania or SummerSlam is sandwiched between Smackdown and Monday Night Raw, on a Sunday evening.

Charity work

Outside of the shows WWE airs, the several links both the company and it SuperStars has with charities makes it a widely respected corporation.

John Cena is one of the most noted WWE wrestlers in relation to charity. in 2009, he became Wish Ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and dedicates himself to granting the wishes of 2-3 children a week.

In addition, WWE often holds global auctions to raise money for several charities, which in the past have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. This along with all of the reasons above, is why anyone and everyone should be a follower of WWE.
