This week's WWE Raw was extremely under-par, and for a Raw that is only a week after SummerSlam, the WWE should be quite worried.
The Authority were once again missing from Raw, who knows why? They are supposed to be in charge of the show but every now and then they decide to have a week off, and Seth Rollins and Kane are supposed to take over meaning the show has a very different structure.
Stephanie should have been there to continue what she started with the Bella Twins and Triple H should have been there to make things fair for Roman Reigns.
As well as this the third member of The Authority, Randy Orton was also missing from Raw even though he wasn't really needed as Kane and Seth were out to destroy Roman, but it would have made sense if he had just made a small appearance.
This isn't the only problem, Brock Lesnar was also missing, just a week after John Cena decided to miss Raw as well. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion is still on a part-time contract despite the fact that he has the biggest title in the company and this now means that he can really pick and choose which Raw's he shows up to and the creative team have to find a way of working around it.
The Hall of Fame panel this week was abysmal, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair deciding to goad Cena into a reaction as they all told him he was going to lose to Brock Lesnar in a re-match and then Cena came out and told them they were all wrong.
How can it make any sense to not have both John Cena and Brock Lesnar building up this big clash? Otherwise people are going to see it for exactly what it is, a rematch that no one really wants to see.
As well as this, Dean Ambrose, one of the best superstars in the company right now, has been allowed him out to be in a film, why would WWE allow this? He and Seth Rollins were one of the only reasons many people brought Summerslam because the match between the two had greater build up, greater rivalry and the anticipation that the main event, regardless of whether is was for a title or not, essentially lacked.
Now Seth has stepped into a feud with Roman Reigns, his other team mate and it seems he will now be the one who stepped in for Dean Ambrose in his absence but there have also been rumours of a return for the "lunatic fringe" at Night of Champions which means WWE are rushing through his filming to allow him back sooner, so that is one good thing to come out of the company this week.
But watching Raw this week and seeing the lacklustre attempt by them to continue build up to matches when the actual wrestlers are not there is becoming hard to watch and hopefully WWE will look at the product they are putting out and realise that something has to change.
