Tottenham youngsters Alex Pritchard and Grant Hall came face to face on Saturday when their clubs, Brentford and Birmingham City respectively, played out a 1-1 draw at Griffin Park.

Pritchard's hosts were down ten men in the first half and, unlike the senior team at West Ham, conceded from the resultant penalty, but the Bees came back strong in the second half and were well worth the draw.

Shaq Coulthirst

Shaq Coulthirst played over an hour for Southend United in their League Two draw at Carlisle, while Jordan Archer again found himself on the bench for Northampton.

Grant Ward

Over in the MLS, Grant Ward provided the equalising goal for Chicago Fire as he was introduced early in the second half against Toronto FC. Ward's cross was put in by former Cardiff and West Brom striker Rob Earnshaw on his debut. Toronto regained the lead but Fire equalised again late on.

Tom Carroll

Tom Carroll did not make the weekend matchday squad for Swansea, but with no other central midfielders on the bench hopes are high he will get significant game time over the coming months. Kenny McEvoy missed out on Peterborough's win over Bradford due to injury.
