5. Mario Balotelli

Liverpool bring back the mischievous Mario Balotelli to the Premier League after letting go of main man Luis Suarez to Barcelona.

Due to numerous red cards, silly spotlight slip-ups and the occasional firework here and there, Balotelli is remembered more for his personality than his playing prowess from his time with Manchester City.

Though he is a walking blunder machine, we often forget the talent Balotelli possesses. Having scored numerous goals for his ex Manchester club as well as AC Milan, Balotelli can be a very good goalscorer.

Always moving and making the right runs, Liverpool have found themselves a class player in the Italian forward. If he can keep his head down and concentrate on his football, Liverpool's strikeforce won't be one to be reckoned with.

4. Alexis Sanchez

Last season Arsenal welcomed German midfielder Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid to the Emirates, and after an unconvincing season for the Gunners, Arsene Wenger felt it necessary to look to the other Spanish giants, Barcelona, for a star man.

After turning down the chance to re-sign ex skipper Cesc Fabregas, Wenger instead signed the Chilean mastermind that is Alexis Sanchez. Having had his best season at Barcelona last term, he's looking to make a huge impact at the north London side.

His quick feet and fantastic runs shall see Ozil drooling at the chance just to play the ball forward to him. Can the ex-Barcelona star pair up well with his old foe from Madrid and provide Arsenal with goals they need to contend for the title this season?

3. Cesc Fabregas

Arsenal fans couldn't believe their eyes when their old captain confirmed he was leaving the Catalan giants, however their hopes at signing him faltered as Arsene Wenger turned down the chance.

Fans then became infuriated with the Spanish midfielder when he signed for rivals Chelsea. After the years of hope that one day their hero would return, Arsenal fans were left to weep into their pillows as Jose Mourinho emerged victorious.

Arsenal fans know just the type of magic Fabregas is capable of producing, and the player has already offered glimpses of his best form in the blue of Chelsea.

2. Diego Costa

Spanish forward Diego Costa enjoyed a fantastic season at Atletico Madrid, ensuring Radamel Falcao was hardly missed at the Vicente Calderon.

However it was only a matter of time before his skills where recognised and the 'Special One' took no time at all to make his move. Having ditched Brazil for Spain, Costa didn't have the most convincing World Cup, however in just two games for Chelsea, he has found the net twice.

This man upfront is who all the providers will be looking to to finish off a wonderfully worked move. Costa is the upgrade that Chelsea needed to lead their line and makes the west London club favourites to clinch the Premier League title.

1. Angel Di Maria

Departing from Real Madrid was not easy for the Argentina international, however he will be welcomed lovingly by the many fans who have been yearning for this big money buy.

Di Maria should slot nicely into Louis van Gaal's plans this season and significantly enhance Manchester United's prospects of reaching the Premier League's coveted top four positions.

After a fantastic few years for Madrid, along with splendid performances for Argentina, Di Maria has the ability to punish any defence with his purposeful dribbling and extreme pace.

Having been given the No.7 shirt, there is much expected of him at Old Trafford - and he is capable of delivering.
