Stephanie McMahon has been a prominent figure in WWE for many years, but her position as a member of The Authority now makes her more popular than ever before.
Whenever Stephanie's music blares out of the speakers, it is greeted by a chorus of boos and jeers, even more so when she comes out to the music of other wrestlers, much to the anger of the WWE Universe.
This anger shown towards the most authoritative woman in WWE is just what she intends. She has been able to get to followers of WWE in a fashion so annoying and yet intelligent, that other heels wish they could do so as easily.
Her whiny, booming voice and patronising and egotistical manner only prove the talent she has at being one of the best villains in professional wrestling. She has undoubtedly proven her capabilities as a character who makes regular appearances week in week out, and you just can't help but listen to whatever she has to say.
Having closed two episodes of Monday Night Raw successively with Brie Bella in the build-up to their SummerSlam encounter, Stephanie again proved her worth as one of the biggest female names in the company at present.
The WWE Divas segment has never quite compared to the days when the likes of Lita and Trish Stratus lead the way for the women. The ongoing feud between Stephanie and Brie, however, meant their match-up at SummerSlam was one of the biggest on the card that night, something rarely achieved by Divas of late.
Even dating back to her time as a regular wrestler, Stephanie's foes were given more attention simply by virtue her opponent. The 37-year-old showed her strength in the ring still against Brie at SummerSlam, comfortably defeating her even with an intervention by her husband Triple H and Brie's sister Nikki.
Though the McMahon family have been the dominant force in WWE for many years now, Stephanie's presence has been more respected and prominent because of her own individual talent.
It would take someone extremely unique to fill the shoes of Stephanie McMahon, no woman in WWE has had the experience she has and the difference she has made to WWE Divas while promoting her own character is something to be admired.
