With less than two months left of the Major League Soccer season, six teams have pulled away to form a thrilling race for the Supporters' Shield.
Seattle Sounders FC, the LA Galaxy, FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake are joined by MLS Cup champions Sporting Kansas City and US Open Cup holders DC United, as just three points separate the top six.
Each side has had their own turn at taking pole position, before slipping up and conceding ground to their rivals, but all have remained consistent enough to have a genuine shot at the title - with only early pacemakers New England Revolution falling by the wayside.
While the other quartet have enjoyed considerable success, Seattle and Dallas are still searching for maiden league honours, and this year represents as good a chance as any to break the duck.
If either club are to lift the Shield come October though, they will have to master a grueling run-in that pits many of the teams at the top against each other.
Here, we've taken a look at the final weeks of this terem, and predicted who will be sat at the summit of the standings when the season concludes...
