Liverpool FC have had a tough start to the league this time around. A shaky home win against Southampton, the team they took 3 players from in the summer, was followed by a 3-1 lost on Monday night to league champions Manchester City. Tottenham Hotspur meanwhile sit at the top of the table on goal difference and look like a completely different side under Mauricio Pochettino. With very little activity this time around in the transfer market, it looks like the star buys from last summer have finally gelled and if the likes of Christian Erikson and Erik Lamela can bring the attack to Liverpool their stay at the top could be extended. Spurs did ship 9 goals against Liverpool last season though without scoring one in return and if Brendan Rodgers side can produce their A game, it could be an away win but a draw at this point would be a fair result.
