I think it is fair to say that ever since Seth Rollins destroyed the Shield, he along with his former brothers Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have taken the WWE by storm.
Reigns has since competed in several matches for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and has impressed despite his inability to actually win the title.
Rollins has gone on to become Mr Money in the Bank, he has become a big member of the Authority and competed in some very good matches.
Ambrose has lived up to his word by 'haunting' Rollins and has become many WWE fans favourite in recent months.
I personally feel Ambrose gave us one of the most comedic moments of the year so far on last weeks episode of RAW.
The Ambrose v Rollins rivalry has been one of the best for a few years and they gave everyone the greatest lumberjack match in history at Summer Slam.
But also last week on RAW, we may have seen the end of Dean Ambrose.
Roman Reigns has barely been involved in the fallout of the Shield's destruction, he has become the new face of the WWE and the main fan favourite of the company.
But this past Monday night on RAW, he came to avenge Ambrose when Rollins held a eulogy for him and almost suffered the same fate.
For those of us who are informed on the inner workings of the company, we'll all know that Ambrose was leaving for time off to film a movie.
So yes he had to have an excuse for not showing up for a few months and in my opinion, the way they did it was fantastic.
It was so in-fitting with his character as the lunatic fringe and when people saw it they were shocked and it was a great way to end RAW.
But then, they tried to replicate the events with Reigns who instead powered out and ended up almost giving Rollins a piece of revenge.
It seemed somewhat disrespectful to everything Ambrose has achieved in recent months that he couldn't escape his fate but Reigns avoided it quite easily.
Ambrose has given us so much on a weekly basis since Payback and for that to have been done, to me seemed disrespectful.
Ambrose will return and I have no doubts that it will be awesome and will spark a great feud with someone, but for now, we are just left with a bit of a shameful effort of them replicating his fate with a 'superior' superstar.
