In many ways transfer deadline day brings around a similar sort of excitement for football fans that Christmas day promises for children.

There's always an air that virtually anything can happen during the last 24 hours of a transfer window, as managers scramble to ensure that their teams are fully equipped and consequently suited to achieve the goals set out for them.

This summer's window hasn't let us down thus far, and deadline day has been every bit as enthralling as it promised. Manchester United have got their hands on Radamel Falcao, whilst rumours persist in claiming that Louis van Gaal isn't finished with his business.

Meanwhile the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool could all delve into the market once more before the doors slam shut tonight, and there's very few players in European football who remain 'unsaleable', so to speak.

With less than half of transfer deadline day yet to pass we here at GMS have decided to compile a list of the dream deals which could be made in the final hours. You may not agree with them, may not think them feasible or may not have even considered some of them as possibilities - that doesn't mean you won't be intrigued.
