Transfer window: Premier League best XI signings (1)

Published 1 Comments

And so the summer transfer window is over and guess what? In an amongst the rumours and speculation some actual transfers did take place.

Chelsea got their business done nice and early and spent big on the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa, while Liverpool were all done by deadline day too having splashed the Luis suarez cash and then some on no less than nine players.

It was a different story over at Manchester United as they finished the window with six new players - although it wasn't exactly straight forward. They beat the clock to land Radamel Falcao on loan, a deal which took their spending to close to £170 million.

It wasn't just the big boys who were at it; West Brom led the way by snapping up no less than 11 players across the window, while Hull moved on deadline day to secure the services of four players.

Of course with every window there were some shrewd deals and some which beggared belief *ahem, Shane Long* - and we've taken time out of our busy day (I say that, there are no transfer rumours now so I've been sat here twiddling my thumbs) to put together a transfer window XI of the best players who we thing represent the best value.
