New information from the Football Observatory claims to have worked out the best and worst transfers of the summer according to their market value.
Using a number of key performance indicators, the number crunchers have taken some of the major transfers of the summer window and put them into three categories: Over-paid, Right price and Under-paid.
Amongst the biggest names in the Over-paid section are Calum Chambers, who moved to Arsenal in a £16 million deal and Adam Lallana, who joined Liverpool for £25 million.
Meanwhile the £28 million Everton paid for Romelu Lukaku was deemed a fair price as was the £10 million Tottenham paid for Ben Davies.
Making up some of the biggest bargains on the summer are Antoine Griezmann, who joined Atletico Madrid for around £24 million and Cesc Fabregas, who moved to Chelsea from Barcelona for £27 million.
