Tony Parker is enjoying some free time at present, with the Frenchman recharging his batteries this summer rather than opting to be involved with his national team at the FIBA World Cup this time around.

But whilst the San Antonio Spurs veteran point guard isn't competing for France this month he did take time out recently to go head-to-head against one of his fellow countrymen - YouTube prankster Remi Gaillard.

And for anyone familiar with the latter's previous videos combining trick shots and pranks, this one does not disappoint.

Now we know Tony Parker is a talented individual (anyone who has watched the NBA for the past decade can tell you that) and the veteran is capable of some pretty jaw-dropping shots at times, but the skeptics out there have been quick to label the video as doctored, boloney, and downright fake.

And maybe we are just too cynical but unfortunately, judging by the evidence above, we have to agree that clever editing might be to thank for the compilation of outrageous shots.

Having said that Remi Gaillard is well known for his soccer skills, with several videos of the Frenchman displaying incredible accuracy with his feet already on YouTube so maybe he has been handing out some tips to the NBA star.

What do you think? Fake or real?

Parker keeps on going

One thing that no one can contest however is Tony Parker's four Championship rings, with the now 32-year-old integral in the San Antonio Spurs prolonged success - not least in the 2007 NBA Finals series in which he was handed the MVP Award.

And with the Spurs having seen off the Miami Heat in convincing fashion in June there is no doubt that Parker, Duncan, Popovich and co will be seeking to continue where they left off when the 2014-15 NBA season rolls around.

If Parker can pull off any of the shots on display in the viral video when it comes to the regular-season he will only further enhance his reputation as one of the best international players ever to play in the league.
