This coming Monday night, we are expecting a fairly explosive, high octane and star studded episode of RAW.
However one star who was invited has replied, will not attend, and that is the newest addition to the Dallas Cowboys practice squad, Michael Sam.
Sam, who was a seventh round by the St Louis Rams in this year's NFL Draft was unfortunately cut by the franchise prior to their final roster announcement.
He has since been picked up by the Cowboys to the practice squad and despite not being promised a chance to run onto an NFL field this season, he is one of the most talked about rookies in the league.
He became well-known with fans for being the first openly homosexual player in NFL history and received a lot of support from fans, team-mates and sponsors.
Following the confirmation that he had been cut by the Rams, an offer was extended to him to make an appearance on the upcoming episode of RAW.
This Monday's episode has been dubbed as the season premiere of RAW and the WWE appear to be putting everything they have into it.
As arguably the second most popular rookie in the NFL, Sam would have been a big name to make an appearance but following his commitment to the Dallas Cowboys, that has now been ruled out.
It has now come out however that the WWE were never int he plans of Sam as confirmed by FOX Sports NFL analyst Brendon Ayanbadejo.
Ayanbadejo is very familiar with Sam and has previously mentored him and he then spilled the beans on his plans with the WWE.
He doesn't spend long discussing the WWE but he does make it clear that am had no intention of coming to the WWE and that the Dallas Cowboys were the only destination for Sam.
A monster show
This Monday's episode of RAW is expected to be one of the biggest probably since they hosted a birthday party for Hulk Hogan prior to SummerSlam.
Several events have already been confirmed including a cage match between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt as their very personal battle continues.
The big name celebrity guest however is talk show host Jerry Springer who will be coming to try and help with the family turmoil that has become the Bella Twins.
Brie and Nikki Bella have been going through some very personal issues since SummerSlam and the very experienced Springer will be coming to try and help.
