Manchester United will carry their summer spending over into the winter window, with around £50 million available to boss Louis van Gaal to land three top targets according to the Daily Mail.
The Red Devils spent in excess of £150 million on six players in the summer window as Van Gaal tries to guide them back to the top of the table, but his squad overhaul won't stop there.

Although Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao all signed on the dotted line at Old Trafford, key issues such as the lack of options at centre-back and a weakness in midfield weren't properly addressed.
Van Gaal missed out on a series of top targets before finally landing those six - but according to the Daily Mail he will be in the January market to right the wrongs of the summer. The paper say that top summer targets Arturo Vidal and Mats Hummels will be targeted in the new year, while Sami Khedira is also on their radar.
Vidal was believed to be at the very top of the Manchester United boss's hitlist, but Juventus' reluctance to sell and doubts over a knee injury seemingly put paid to that. It is now being suggested that Juan Mata could be allowed to join the Turin-based outfit in order to facilitate a move for the Chilean.
Hummels was also said to have been high on Van Gaal's most wanted list but Borussia Dortmund laughed off any suggestions that he could be sold - however Manchester United will test their resolve once more in January.
Khedira is out of contract at Real Madrid next summer and could walk away for free having turned down the offer of a new contract, which means the Spanish club could be willing to sell him on the cheap. Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with the German international in the past.
The Daily Mail says Van Gaal will be handed £50 million to spend in January, while that total could be boosted by the sale of Mata. He arrived for £37.1 million in earlier this year, but could be allowed to leave for just £20 million.
