After being thrashed by the Seattle Seahawks in last season's Superbowl can the Broncos go one better this season and get Manning another ring?

Key Man : Peyton Manning

Aged 38 now how long can Peyton Manning continue to operate at the level he has been?

The Broncos will hope that it is at least one more year because, Manning is the catalyst that elevates the Broncos from good to great. He is one of those rare players that makes everyone around him perform better.

Last season, Manning had a record breaking year as he threw for 55 touchdowns and 5,477 yards. Likely, those numbers will drop a bit this season but still Manning is looking at a 5000 plus yard season. Should he do this then the Broncos will be looking at going one better this season and winning the Superbowl.

Biggest Strength : The offense. Need we say more?

The stars that were there last season Peyton Manning, Julius Thomas, Demaryius Thomas are back for this season. Where players like Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno have departed they have been upgraded with the likes of Emmanuel Sanders, Cody Latimer and Montee Ball.

The only cloud that exists for the Broncos offense is the four game suspension that Wes Welker has picked up but even this has a silver lining. Firstly, the depth the Broncos have at wide receiver will allow them to comfortably cover for Welker during his absence. Secondly, the month or so that Welker will be out will give him time recover from the nasty looking concussion he sustained in pre-season against the Houston Texans.

This Broncos offense is going to score 30+ points per game.

Biggest Weakness - Do they have any?

To be honest the Broncos don't have any weaknesses. That is why they are one of the
favorites for the Superbowl. That is why I ranked them number one in my power rankings.

Last season, the the offense was exceptional but the defense wasn't great. This season though the defense should be much improved. The acquisitions of Aqib Talib, T.J. Ward and DeMarcus Ware in free agency give the Broncos the pieces of a great defense. In particular the edge rushing of Ware and Von Miller should be a nightmare for offensive lines.

This Broncos side has fixed its weaknesses from last season and will be looking to overcome last seasons Superbowl heartache.

Schedule Review

Road games against the Seahawks and Patriots in weeks three and nine respectively are likely the only games the Broncos will not be favorites for as they look set to dominate a weak AFC West. Outside of those weeks though things should be plain sailing for Peyton Manning and Broncos as they look to avenge last seasons Superbowl defeat?

Prediction : 14-2
