In the world of WWE, rivalries are common, fierce and often brutal between the superstars, which is why the thought of them being genuine friends in real life is surprising to learn.
Perhaps the strongest friendship in the Divas segment of WWE is that which has been built by Trish Stratus and Lita.
The pair had an on-going rivalry through their respective tag teams as well as in the ring as individuals. There were even occasions when certain love interests caused a divide between the two faces of women's WWE.
In reality though, these two legendary Divas may as well be sisters. They are often seen together and Lita, whose real name is Amy Dumas is the God Mother of Stratus' child.
Earlier this year Stratus had the privilege of inducting the other half of 'Team Bestie' Lita into the iconic WWE Hall of Fame and even created a photo diary of the pair sharing the occasion together to post on her website.
Another WWE pairing whose friendship was cemented by the WWE Hall of Fame is that of Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
Back in 2011, Triple H had the honour of inducting his long-term friend Michaels into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.
Their journey in the business began at the start of the Attitude Era days when the Degeneration X group was formed by the pair.
Over the years the friendship these two shared was emulated in reality, with The Game's wife Stephanie even saying she first thought the pair were gay because of their closeness.
One of the lesser-known friendships which exists outside of WWE is that of Superstar Kofi Kingston and the recently-departed CM Punk.
During the time of Punk's long-hair era, he and Kingston started out as Tag-Team Champions in WWE before continuing their careers in WWE as individual Superstars.
Despite this split as well as Punk becoming the more dominant and successful wrestler of the two, their friendship withstood it all and remains to this day.
Speaking of their friendship following Punk's sudden departure from the industry earlier this year, Kofi spoke of how they are each other's 'road wives' and that it is hard to call anyone in the business a true friend, proving how much all of the wrestlers mentioned above must treasure their friendships.
