The wrestling world is full of great characters and great people that love to do as much as they can for as long as possible.
Many of the WWE's former superstars have shown immense courage both in the ring and out of it during their careers, and there is one particular former wrestler right now who is battling that ultimate battle of life once again.
That man is Jake the Snake, and he is taking on his ultimate challenge yet again after he revealed that his cancer is back and it is worse than before.
Not afraid of cancer
But just like his challenges in the ring during his stellar career in wrestling, Jake is not fazed one bit.
Instead, the impressive man says he's not afraid of cancer and vows to not let the disease beat him.
"I'm just proud to be here tonight," Roberts told the audience at a wrestling show. "I've gotta have more stuff taken out of my chest … it's cancer."
Jake is a man clearly blessed with courage in abundance. And there is one reason he gives for his ability to simply keep fighting on.
Keeping the faith
The Snake is a deeply religious man, and it is his belief in God that he says is helping him through this hard time.
"I'm not afraid, man," Christian Post reported. "I'm very comfortable with my faith. Faith not only in God but faith in the people that I have around me."
The announcement that Jake the Snake's cancer is back follows on from a horrific incident he had last month.
The WWE legend fell ill with pneumonia after he collapsed after an LA flight and was subsequently taken to hospital.
Things clearly didn't get better for him but the man is a fighter and he won't give in. Hats off to Jake the Snake for his courage and we wish him all the best as he continues the fight against cancer.
