Manchester United news: Red Devils set to reap rivals' cash

Published Add your comment

Manchester United splashed the cash over the summer, but it looks as though they're likely to recoup some of their £150 million outlay from an unlikely source. Plans are being drawn up to give some of the fines paid by the likes of Manchester City and PSG under UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules to clubs who qualified for European competitions last season. That means Manchester United, along with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, will be handed over £200,000 each straight from their rivals' pocket.
