The Premier League returns this weekend after a somewhat irritating international break, and there are plenty of narratives set to unfold over the course of the next few games.

This is, of course, the first round of fixtures since the transfer window closed so there will be numerous of notable debuts, with most eyes on two strikers with a Manchester United connection - Radamel Falcao and Danny Welbeck.

The latter left Old Trafford on deadline day for Arsenal and, off the back of a two goal salvo for England in Switzerland, much is now expected of Welbeck at the Emirates Stadium. Manchester City will be the first opponents for the 23-year-old.

He was somewhat forced out after Manchester United had moved to recruit Falcao, the most significant deal of the window’s final day, and the Colombian superstar is expected to make his bow against Queens Park Rangers.

These may be just two of numerous debuts set for this weekend, but they unsurprisingly dominate the Saturday newspapers. Here’s what they have to say…
