Percy Harvin, Seahawks benefit from some terrible officiating

Published Add your comment

Seattle Seahawks do not need help winning football games in the NFL, but on Sunday afternoon they got a massive slice of luck during their road game in San Diego.

Chargers fans were left stunned when replays showed that Percy Harvin stepped out of bounds during his 55-yard-run for a touchdown early in the first quarter.

I know what you’re thinking. But all scoring plays get reviewed if necessary. Well, it seems that somehow the officials on the field and in the box upstairs completely missed the step out.

What will be great news for fantasy owners of Percy Harvin and Seahawks fans will be equally frustrating news for Chargers fans.

Harvin is dangerous enough when he’s allowed to play fairly, let alone when officials miss such a blatant step out of bounds.

Despite the officiating error, the Chargers are coping well against the World Champions and are currently up 10-7 at the time of writing.
