Juventus and Roma get off to fine Champions League starts (1)

The Champions League returned to our TV sets on Tuesday night and it's already off to a frantic start with 42 goals scored in the 16 games.

The big winners from match-day one were FC Porto, Real Madrid and AS Roma, but we are now going to focus on specifically how the Italian times did in their opening match-days.

Unfortunately for Italian fans, there are only two Serie A teams in this season's Champions League after Napoli failed to qualify after they were beat by Athletic Bilbao in the third round qualifying stages, so it's down to Roma and Juventus to fly the Italian flag.
