According to the Daily Express, the French club are open to offers for the French under-21 midfielder. Arsenal and Chelsea have been strongly linked with the Belgian-born star in recent seasons.
Before Imbula swapped Guingamp for Marseille last summer, he was linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea. And the report claims Chelsea may reignite their interest in the player this January as they look for a younger and cheaper alternative to John Obi Mikel.

Comparison with Arsenal legend
Press reports have dubbed the 22-year-old midfielder as the 'new Patrick Vieira' as his style of play reportedly resembles the Arsenal legend.
The rangy midfielder is capable of getting up and down the pitch, and he's gifted on the ball as well as being strong in the tackle.
Arsenal are crying out for just this sort of player, as Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere are not capable of playing the holding role. Mathieu Flamini is a useful option for the Gunners, but he's not a long-term option and cannot cut it at the highest level in the Champions League.
Ideal for Arsenal?
Imbula would be the perfect project for Wenger, and he wouldn't have to rush him into the first-team, although he's certainly capable of making a good impression.
At Chelsea he would be likely to take a more considered path to the starting lineup, as he would face formidable competition for places with Nemanja Matic the entrenched starter in the holding role.
Marseille are looking to raise funds and Imbula is one of their most valuable assets. Imbula has made 31 league appearances for Marseille, scoring one goal.
He has three caps for the French under-21 side.
