Liverpool currently sit 8th in the Premier League table and face 13th placed West Ham in the late kick off at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon. Last season Liverpool put six past the Hammers over their two matches and claimed the six points on offer. This season however the Reds have only managed to score dix goals in total over their opening four fixtures. Last year Liverpool had an overall scoring statistic of 2.6 goals a game. If you compare that to their current stats of only 1.5 goals a game then you can assume that they’ll either need to start scoring more or become extremely difficult to score against if they hold any aspirations of lifting the league trophy.
