Parker is currently in his home nation of France prior to the kick-off of the new NBA season which just over a month away.

But while at an exhibition game in France, Parker was given a bit of challenge that he didn't just beat, he annihilated.

He was given a ball and told to shoot from half court, but the standard shot would just be too easy for the NBA veteran.

So instead, Parker took the ball to half court, turned around and launched a phenomenal behind the back shot.

He didn't seem tot take a look for where the hoop was before launching the shot but needless to say, there were a lot of celebrations following the successful attempt.

Parker's ambition

As a beloved French athlete, Parker is always the center of the media attention when he returns home and during a television appearance, he made some bold claims.

As the current NBA Champions, all eyes will be on them to see if they can become repeat champions and win a second consecutive NBA Championship.

The Spurs have now won five NBA Championships but never have they won back to back titles and Parker feels this may be their year.

Parker claimed: "I think its the right season, its a great challenge, for us to repeat would be unbelievable."

Well it appears that LeBron James - despite parting ways with the Miami Heat will still be providing the Spurs major threat to their chances of repeating with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James and his Cavaliers team are widely regarded as one of the most hyped teams in NBA history and many fans feel that this years NBA Championship is theirs already.

With the great acquisitions they have made this summer, its hard to argue with that but the race for the title between the Spurs and the Cavaliers should be one of the most entertaining in recent years.
