Geno Smith takes step back as Jets lose to Chicago

Published Add your comment

After a very promising start to the season, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith took a step back last night in his teams 27-19 loss at home to Chicago. Smith had started the season well, and just when it was starting to look like he’d put his poor rookie season behind him he threw a pick six on the second play of the game - immediately putting New York on the back foot. Bad decision making would see It got worse for Geno deep in the 3rd quarter when Bears rookie Kyle Fuller picked him off in the end zone with the score at 24-13. Overall, Smith completed 26 from 43 passes and finished the game with 316 yards, 1 touchdown & 2 interceptions.
