Ever since the night after Wrestlemania this year, WWE has had some very big creative issues with the Divas Championship.
First of all, Paige was a rookie to many wrestling fans, to the ones who don't know about British Wrestling and how she was trained, she was a newbie on the scene and for her to take the Divas title from the longest reigning Divas Champion with a botched Paige Turner after a few minutes when the entire divas roster couldn't defeat AJ was a little to unbelievable.
Not only this, but Paige was then undefeated until AJ returned a few months later and took back her title in pretty much the same way Paige won it, making her a two time champion.
Since then the title has changed hands at both Summerslam and Night of Champions as AJ is now a three time Divas Champion and Paige having only been in WWE for five months has already held the most precious prize in the womens division twice.
Eve Torres currently has the record as a three time champion but only held the title for 260 days throughout the entire reign, whilst AJ has already held the title for 395 days.
This can't be a great sign for the divas division as the title seems to be being passed around like a hot potato as of late and for it to change hands at consecutive pay-per-views is not the way the creative team should be booking it.
After the events on Raw this week, it also seems that Nikki will now be part of the next divas title match, but WWE can't allow the title to change hands again because it will only devalue the title even further because that could be a third pay-per-view that it has changed hands.
Time to act
Nikki and Brie need to have their rivalry away from the divas championship and AJ needs to feud with someone like Stephanie for a while to give the title the respect it used to have back.
Many fans were annoyed when the Womens championship was replaced by the Divas title a few years ago but now you have to think it was a good idea because the Womens title deserved more respect that the divas championship has been given.
