WWE: Major superstars set to return for Wrestlemania season

Published 3 Comments

Before Roman Reigns' legitimate injury on Saturday, the plan within WWE was supposedly for him to run as the number one babyface up to Wrestlemania 31.

Roman was set to win the Royal Rumble and be the one to defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE world heavyweight championship on the grandest stage of them all, and it seems there has been no change for WWE in that respect.

Roman is only set to be out for a few months, meaning he will be back in time to win the Rumble. For the time being Dean Ambrose will be the number two babyface in the company and he will be the one challenging The Authority until Roman's return.

Bryan return

But Roman isn't the only one who will be returning in time for the road to Wrestlemania as Daniel Bryan, the long-term absentee, is also set to make his comeback at the Rumble, which is not a big surprise after the way the crowd reacted when Bryan wasn't a part of this year's edition because of his match with Bray Wyatt and the whole Authority storyline.

As well as two of the hottest superstars in WWE right now there is also another name being rumoured to return, but it's not one a lot of fans will be happy about as Batista is set to embark on his farewell to WWE stint.

It's not shocking news that WWE still want Bryan and Reigns at the forefront of the company heading into the biggest events of 2015, because of the way the WWE Universe have reacted to the two very different superstars.

There is still no mention of John Cena's role in WWE at this point as the definitive face as well as Randy Orton, the only thing that is known for sure is that Reigns will be winning the 2015 Royal Rumble and will still go on to defeat Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31.

But there is still the question of a certain Money In the Bank briefcase and who will be holding it at the time...
