Vince McMahon has a rule for Total Divas cast

Last Sunday at Night of Champions Nikki Bella took on Paige and AJ Lee in a triple threat match for the WWE Divas Championship.

Many thought Nikki had a real chance of taking the title and taking the gold to the Total Divas set, but now it seems that Vince has other plans for the cast and in fact the man at the top even has a rule that no one in the Total Divas cast is allowed to win the Divas Championship.

Vince is in control

As well as this Vince also tried to set up Raw so that it fits in with the current Total Divas storylines, he is said to always want the two shows to sync but then he decides he doesn't need them to sync sometimes as well, so this would be why there are relations to the episode some weeks like Summer and Natalya this week but some weeks it goes without mention.

This is pretty sad news for the Total Divas cast though as there is a former champion in Natalya in the show, does this mean she can't win the title whilst she's part of the show?

But the good news is that even though Eva Marie was looking for a Divas Title shot after she fluked a win over AJ Lee leading up to Summerslam, she wont be getting the title so there is no way the validation of the championship can drop any further by giving the title to someone who is popular with the crowd but no where near ready in the ring.

It is understood that as with most of his decisions, Vince can change his mind, but with Nikki seemingly hot on the title trail and Brie and her set for a showdown, Paige and AJ could be the two remaining on the title scene after the two sisters collide.

Why bring in such a rule?

This news could mean that Nikki, Brie, Summer, Natalya, Rosa Mendes, Naomi, Cameron and Eva Marie are not allowed to hold the title until their time on the hit E! network show is up, but at the same time this could be Vince's way of making sure his champion is protected and he might think appearing on a reality show would devalue it.

There are already stories that the divas championship is being passed around a lot more than it was when the Women's championship was in it's place, but at least if Vince sticks to this rule, AJ could keep the title for a while and continue to control the Divas Division until someone can come and be a top contender and challenge her for the belt.
