Manchester United have created a wave of interest both on and off the pitch with huge summer signings bringing in the likes of Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao to the squad but sadly it has been their incredible results on the pitch that are somewhat of an embarrassing talking point at Old Trafford.

After demolishing QPR two weeks ago, United boss Louis Van Gaal was quick to proclaim his desire to deliver the title to the fans but then a 5-3 defeat away to Leicester City showed the gaping holes in the Red Devil's defence.

Louis Van Gaal will be dipping into the youth system at United to help plug the gaps in side after the team was hit with a total of 10 absentees through injury. Johnny Evans, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Michael Carrick, Marrouane Fellaini are all out injured including Tyler Blackett who is suspended after his Red card in the defeat against Leicester City.

Sam Allardyce spoke ahead of the game about bringing his winning side up to Old Trafford for a fixture that the new players in his side certainly shouldn’t be fearing.

The Theatre of dreams no longer seems to have the fear factor it once did under Sir Alex Ferguson and with United’s recent history showing they can be got at we think teams and players will see it as a chance to announce their own arrival on one of the worlds biggest stages.

Unfortunately we think it will still take some time for this new United side to arrive themselves and were going for a shock 2-1 win for the Hammers!
