Manchester United boost as key target Kevin Strootman returns to fitness

Published Add your comment

Take one look at any transfer roundup concerning Manchester United over the past few days and you’re more than likely to see Kevin Strootman’s name floating about. The rumours persist in registering him as Louis van Gaal’s top target heading into the winter transfer window, and recent quotes from Roma boss Rudi Garcia confirmed that if an offer was submitted, he would have little say in the matter. Well we’ve got good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that Strootman once again occupies the prime position in our roundup today, but the good news is that it’s positive for United fans. Recent updates have claimed that the Dutch international is very close to a return from an injury which has seen him out for more than half of this calendar year, meaning that he may be fit to pass a medical at Old Trafford in January if it comes to it.
