Manchester United manager David Moyes is interested in signing Derby County youngster Will Hughes, according to the Daily Mail.
The 18 year old is thought to be one of the best young talents outside the Premier League at the moment.
Hughes has made more than 50 appearances for the Rams already - very impressive for a player of his age.
Moyes may seem rather reluctant to indulge in the January transfer window, but may have to if he is serious about securing Will Hughes' services with so many other clubs tracking the promising English midfielder.
Although Hughes may not be the big name or star signing that the United fans so dearly crave, but he is certainly one to watch for the future.
New Derby boss Steve McClaren has conceded that the club may struggle to keep hold of the midfielder in January.
He recently told reporters: "Our job is to make sure he makes it. Eventually he will be too good."
There is no doubt Hughes is one to watch for the future and the midfielder has already won four caps for the England under-21 national side.
Again, Hughes may not be the signing United fans crave, but if reports are anything to go by and United manager Moyes is serious about signing the youngster, then a January move for Hughes may not be too outlandish to suggest.
